Degree Map: Digital Media AAS, Broadcast Production Specialist Concentration


The Digital Media Associate in Applied Science  degree consists of two elective areas areas of concentration - Graphic Design Specialist and Broadcast Production Specialist.  To guide you in making course selections that correspond to your career goals, this program map provides suggested course sequences for full-time students for the Broadcast Production Specialist Concentration.  A separate program map is provided for the Graphic Design Specialist Concentration.  You should see an academic advisor to create a customized program map that works for you.  To earn the Associate in Applied Science degree, you must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 (‘C’) as a minimum on all coursework required for the degree.

Note the Milestones below each semester.  Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track for degree completion. 

First Semester

  • Visit the writing, math and science, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
  • Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.
