DHYG 2362 - Dental Hygiene Theory IIIThis course includes concepts and application of non-surgical periodontal therapy, advanced instrumentation skills, planning dental hygiene care for the periodontal patient, reevaluation and maintenance of oral and periodontal health, advanced fulcrum techniques, application of chemotherapeutic agents, insurance coding for dental procedures, dietary analysis and counseling, and cases. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous Dental Hygiene (DHYG) coursework with a grade of “C” or better
