Program Map: Pharmacy Technology Certificate


The Pharmacy Technology program is offered every fall and spring term and is a one semester program; however, it is acceptable to split the 16 credit hours into two semesters with the program director’s approval.  Classes are on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Students must have an average of 75% or higher on all coursework for PHMT 1324, PHMT 1334 and PHMT 1414, or approval from the program director, to begin clinical rotations in PHMT 1524. To earn this certificate, you must achieve a minimum 2.0 (‘C’) grade point average on the courses listed below.

  • Check the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
  • To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted.  Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.
  • Complete all risk management requirements in preparation for the clinical setting (CPR, vaccinations, flu shot, TB test, etc.), including clearance on a national background check and negative drug screening.
  • Meet with an academic advisor to file for graduation during the semester.
