First Semester
Milestones
- GEOG 2343/GIS 2343 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems and GIS 2354 Computer Cartography are only offered during the 1st 8 week session of fall semesters.
- GIS 2373 GIS Data Acquisition and Management is only offered during the 2nd 8 week session of fall semesters.
- Check academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
- Meet with an academic advisor to file for graduation.
- To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 if 31 or more hours have been attempted. See a financial aid counselor to determine your financial aid status.
- Students must make a minimum of “C” for continued enrollment and graduation in the GIS Certificate Program
Second Semester
Milestones
- GEOG 2383 Advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is only offered during the 1st 8 week session of spring semesters.
- GIS 2393 Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Practicum is only offered during the 2nd 8 week session of spring semesters.
- Students must make a minimum of “C” for continued enrollment and graduation in the GIS Certificate Program.
- Consult with an academic advisor to complete a Petition for Computer Proficiency.
- Meet with an academic advisor for a graduation check.
- Students must make a minimum of “C” for graduation in the GIS Certificate Program.
- Visit Career Services to build your resume.
Milestones
- Check the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
- To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted. Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.
