Degree Map: Engineering A.S., Mechanical Engineering Option


If you are a full-time student taking and follow this degree map, you can complete this associate degree in two years.  See an academic advisor for a customized degree map that works for you.  To be recommended for the Associate in Science degree, you must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 as a minimum on all coursework attempted (minimum of 60 hours). You must have completed MATH 1513 and MATH 1613 or MATH 1715 or have demonstrated math competencies at the pre-calculus level through test scores prior to the first semester to complete this degree within two years.  See an academic advisor to learn more about Math placement testing.

First Semester

Transfer Information

This degree transfers to Oklahoma State University (OSU Tulsa).  Admission to OSU’s Professional School for Mechanical Engineering requires that students have a ‘C’ or better in all prerequisite courses for the major and a GPA of 3.0 in certain technical courses.  You should work closely with an academic advisor each semester to make certain you are enrolled in the correct courses for a seamless transfer process. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he/she understands the program/admission/transfer requirements for the transfer school. A copy of the transfer agreement with OSU is provided below.
