FEMS 2253 - Fire Investigation and Arson This course covers the firefighter’s role in fire investigations; the method and mechanics of protecting, searching, and controlling the fire scene; determining the point or origin, path of fire travel, and fire causes; interviews and interrogations; recognizing and preserving evidence; Oklahoma arson laws; alibis, motives, providing the corpus delicti, preparation of the case, court testimony, reports and records and juvenile fire setters. Includes lab component.
