INED 2233 - American Sign Language to English Interpreting II This course is a continuation of American Sign Language to English Interpreting I. Students will refine consecutive interpretation skills and develop simultaneous interpretation skills from American Sign Language to English. Students will discuss the application of process skills, contrastive ASL-English linguistics, contrastive cultural analysis, and teaming skills. This course includes practice of requisite skills and process tasks of increased complexity with rehearsed and unrehearsed language samples. Concurrent enrollment with INED 2403 and ASLE 2524 is recommended.
Prerequisite: INED 2213 with a “C” or better or instructor approval. Semester Offered Only offered at night in the spring semester. Only offered during the day in the fall semester.
