NURS 2444 - Adult Health IV & Leadership Proficiency at entry level-to-practice regarding nursing process and knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for six areas of competency in nursing profession: patient centered care; teamwork and collaboration; best practice; quality improvement; safety; and informatics. Explores concept clusters and selected exemplars for application of nursing process and principles of leadership among adult population with complex health problems. Emphasis on integration of complex physical assessment; medication administration; leadership skills; and nursing judgment (critical thinking, patient preferences, and best practice). Includes lab component.
Prerequisites: Completion of all previous Nursing courses with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite: NURS 2442 .
