MDLT 2423 - Clinical Immunohematology/Blood Bank Study of blood group antigens and antibodies in relation to their clinical significance. Includes a wide variety of procedures including donor selection, component preparation and use, adverse effects of transfusion and hemolytic disease of the newborn. Course must be completed with a “C” or better.
Prerequisite: Admission into the MLT program or Program Director approval.
