NURS 2243 - Adult Health III In-depth exposure to adult health concepts. Explores selected exemplars for application of nursing process among adult population with major health disruptions. Select exemplars complement link between concept application in adult population and maternal-newborn special population (NURS 2232). Emphasis on knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding primary, secondary, and tertiary nursing care; medication administration; and nursing judgment (critical thinking, patient preferences, and best practice). Includes lab component.
Prerequisites: Completion of all previous Nursing courses with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisites: NURS 2231 , NURS 2232 , NURS 2242 .
