CSCI 1273 - Customer SupportDesigned to show how customer support positions provide guidance and assistance in both consulting and troubleshooting roles within a helpdesk environment. Guidance in educating the user community based upon current hardware/software products. Understanding the importance of developing a better understanding of a customer’s business environment and troubleshooting/resolving the customer’s problems as quickly as possible. Develop troubleshooting and problem solving techniques to distinguish between communication vs. equipment hardware/software problems and be able to effectively communicate with non-technical users over the telephone. Prerequisite: CSCI 1263
