DHYG 2022 - Special Needs/GeriatricsFocus is on the management of older adult/geriatric patients and those patients whose medical, physical, psychological, or social situations make it necessary to modify normal dental routines in order to provide dental treatment for those individuals. These individuals include, but are not limited to, people with developmental disabilities, complex medical problems, and significant physical limitations. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous Dental Hygiene (DHYG) coursework with a grade of “C” or better.
