OCTA 1483 - Physical DisabilitiesThis course introduces occupational therapy treatment design and implementation of techniques, treatment methods and adaptive equipment used with physical disability. Application of the OT Framework is emphasized throughout. Students will develop treatment plans and learn to give a standardized assessment and become familiar with the assessment process. The course incorporates observation of treatment methods under the supervision of practicing clinicians at various local clinical settings. All previous OCTA coursework with a grade of “C” or better or instructor approval.
