NURS 2221 - Maternal Newborn and Pediatric Nursing Clinical

Application of nursing process with assigned maternal-newborn, pediatric patients and families in selected settings (hospital, school and/or community). Emphasis on focused assessments, safe nursing care, health coaching and nursing judgment (critical thinking, patient preferences, and best practice).

Prerequisites: Completion of all previous Nursing courses with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisites: NURS 2212 , NURS 2213  and NURS 2222 .
