RESP 1414 - Clinical I Introduction to practical clinical application of oxygen therapy, humidity and aerosol therapy, patient assessment, airway management, hyperinflation therapies and pulmonary function studies under supervision. Emphasis will also be placed on the respiratory care management of patients in the home setting and pulmonary rehab with the student rotating through a respiratory home care company and pulmonary rehab lab.
Prerequisites: RESP 1243, RESP 1313 , RESP 1354 , and RESP 1511 with a grade of “C” or better . concurrent enrollment in RESP 1403 Semester Offered Spring
