GEOG 2343 - Introduction to Geographic Information Systems An introductory course designed to acquaint students with the theory and uses of Geographic Information Systems to capture, store, query, and analyze data referenced to a location on the Earth’s surface. Student will gain experience with GIS software. Course should be taken concurrently with GIS 2354. Course must be completed with a grade of C or better to progress in the GIS program. Includes lab component.
