HITC 2222 - Physician Billing & Reimbursement

The application of CPT and HCPCS coding principles and guidelines introduced in HITC 1333 will be continued.  Physician reimbursement (RBRVS and the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule) will be examined and students will learn procedures for claims processing. 

Prerequisite: HITC 1333   with a “C” or better
