DHYG 1373 - Dental Hygiene Theory II

Procedures for medical and dental emergencies; oral health care services to patients with bloodborne infectious diseases; planning dental hygiene care for a variety of patients; instrument sharpening; power driven instruments; dental specialties; laws pertaining to dental assisting.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previous Dental Hygiene (DHYG) coursework with a grade of “C” or better.
