MUSC 2071 - Aural Theory IV Development of aural skills through sight-singing and dictation of rhythm, melody, and harmony using musical examples from the common practice period with a focus on form, secondary dominants, modulations, and more advanced rhythm patterns, and an introduction to 20th century techniques. Required for music majors.
Prerequisite: MUSC 2013 and MUSC 2061 with a grade of “C” or better or instructor approval. Corequisite MUSC 2023
