DHYG 1394 - Clinical Dental Hygiene II Development of evidence-based procedural practices; care plans; radiography, non-surgical periodontal therapy and instrumentation techniques and equipment; administration of nitrous oxide sedation and local anesthesia; colloquium of various dental topics. Course includes 180 clinical hours.
Prerequisites: Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and successful completion of all previous Dental Hygiene (DHYG) coursework with a grade of “C” or better. Semester Offered Spring
