MUSC 2061 - Aural Theory III Development of aural skills through sight-singing and dictation of rhythm, melody, and harmony using musical examples from the common practice period with a focus on chromatic pitches, secondary dominants, modulations, and more advanced rhythm patterns. Required for music majors.
Prerequisite: MUSC 1023 and MUSC 1071 with a grade of “C” or better or instructor approval. Corequisite: MUSC 2013
