AVST 2245 - Air Traffic Control Tower Operations III Takes the student beyond the traffic complexity of Tower Operations II with increased numbers of aircraft operations, the application of wake turbulence separation, simultaneous IFR, VFR, and closed pattern operations on both parallel and crossing runways. The objective of the course is to prepare the student to perform at the highest levels of traffic complexity taught in the Initial Terminal phase of training at the FAA Academy.
