AVST 2023 - Instrument Pilot Flight Lab

Covers flying solely by reference to instruments, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), weather, instrument approaches, and air traffic control procedures. FAA Instrument Pilot checkride under Part 141 (minimum of 35 hours) and Part 61 (minimum of 40 hours) regulations. Minimum age for FAA checkride is 17. FAA checkride is conducted on-site by a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and requires additional external fee. FAA checkride is not a mandatory requirement to complete this course.
