AVST 2253 - Aviation Meteorology

Provides training on interpreting National Weather Service (NWS) aviation weather reports and recognizing hazardous weather. Includes instruction on the Pilot Weather Report (PIREP) Program, managed by both the NWS and FAA. Covering how to request, document, process, and decode PIREPs along with essential weather principles and key atmospheric elements.
