CHLD 2213 - Children with Special Needs This course will focus on the principles and practices of facilitating learning for children with special needs. A primary objective is to make practical application to healthy learning environments for all children. Legislative issues, inclusion, early intervention, developmentally appropriate strategies, advocacy, and parental involvement will be addressed. Assigned field experiences.
Prerequisite CHLD 2003 with a “C” or better (may be taken concurrently).
