CHLD 2253 - Child Development Practicum The practicum is the culminating experience for the Child Development student. Practicum site placements will be individualized based on the student’s degree option. Students will interact with children and/or families, teaching appropriate curriculum and activities. Each student will compile a portfolio of previously completed coursework to document their knowledge, skills, and abilities as they relate to the NAEYC associate degree standards for early childhood education. Assigned Field Experiences.
Prerequisite CHLD 2003 with a “C” or better (may be taken concurrently). Semester Offered Fall, Spring
