CHEM 1114 - Principles of Chemistry Principles and concepts of chemistry are examined, including: atomic theory, stoichiometry, solutions, electron configurations, molecular structures and nuclear chemistry among others. This class does not substitute for CHEM 1315. A “C” or better in CHEM 1114 is required to progress to BIOL 2154 and BIOL 2164. Includes lab component.
Prerequisite MATH 0013 with a grade of “C” or better, or appropriate placement test score. Semester Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
