CHEM 1315 - General Chemistry I Designed for science and science-related majors. The course includes the fundamental laws and theories dealing with the structure and interactions of matter and the use of these principles in understanding the properties of matter, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, the physical states of matter, changes of state, and solutions. The fundamental principles are applied to the solution of quantitative problems relating to chemistry. Students that wish to progress to the next course in sequence, CHEM 1415 - General Chemistry II, must earn a “C” or above in CHEM 1315. Includes lab component.
Prerequisite MATH 1513 or MATH 1715 or equivalent with a grade of “C” or better. Semester Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
