BIOT 1533 - Cell Culture Techniques

Lecture will discuss growth requirements of mammalian cells.  Lab topics include aseptic technique, subculture, quantitation, cryopreservation, transfection, and cytotoxicity.  Course includes an embedded research project. Prerequisites: BIOT 1113  and BIOL 2164 .  Courses may be taken concurrently with this course. Includes lab component.
