EMSP 2214 - Principles of Paramedic IIA study of all age groups of advanced assessment, pathophysiology, and management of trauma emergencies to include clinical reasoning and the development of treatment plans. The student will be required to successfully complete supervised hours and competencies in approved clinical and prehospital sites as determined by the program. The purpose of field/clinical is to allow the application of learned principles in the delivery of patient care. Prerequisite: EMSP 2115 and EMSP 2129 with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite: EMSP 2229 .
