SOCI 2153 - Crisis Intervention and Experience (S)

Models of responding, counseling techniques and community resources.  Specialization areas include mental illness, substance abuse, suicide, homelessness, grief, and violence.  Lecture plus a supervised practicum in an approved social sciences agency. Prerequisite: PSYC 1113  or SOCI 1113 . Crosslisted with PSYC 2153 .
