Program Description
The AAS Applied Technology is geared for economic development in the institution’s service area. This workforce degree program is designed to provide students who have obtained working knowledge, skills, and competencies through the OK Career Tech system an opportunity to complete an individualized program of study to fulfill a unique career goal by combining general education with specific technical knowledge and skills in preparation for employment or career advancement. Program Learning Outcomes
In addition to satisfying the learning outcomes of general education courses and the overall Institutional Learning Outcomes, program graduates will:
- Know and be able to apply the terminology and conceptual frameworks related to common organizational structures and basic operations in the workplace
- Have the technical skills expected of entry level employees in their field of study
- Demonstrate the professional/ethical behaviors of essential workplace skills.
