Electronics Technology AAS, Electrical Substation Technology Option Program Map


This degree map provides you with the semester-by-semester course sequencing for a full-time student to complete this degree in two years. To earn the Associate in Applied Science degree, you must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 as a minimum on all coursework required for the degree and a minimum grade of ‘C’ on all Electronics courses. Note the Milestones below each semester. Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track for degree completion.

  • Download MS Office from MyTCC.
  • Form a study group, join a student organization, or volunteer at a community service site.
  • Visit the writing, math and science, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
  • Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.

  • Students are only allowed to take 18 credit hours in one semester.  See the academic advising office about options if you are trying to attempt more than 18  hours. 
  • Visit Career Services by your 20th credit hour to explore career opportunities associated with this degree.
