Applied Technology, AAS

Program Description

The AAS Applied Technology prepares students for employment or career advancement through an individualized program of study that combines general education with a technical specialty. Students can apply the knowledge, skills, and competencies obtained through the OK Career Tech system, Career Tech 2022-2023 Click Here  , or previous career tech or college coursework in a technical discipline, toward the AAS Applied Technology degree. 

 

Program Learning Outcomes

In addition to satisfying the learning outcomes of general education courses and the overall Institutional Learning Outcomes, program graduates will:

  • Know and be able to apply the terminology and conceptual frameworks related to common organizational structures and basic operations in the workplace
  • Have the technical skills expected of entry level employees in their field of study
  • Demonstrate the professional/ethical behaviors of essential workplace skills.
