Nursing (RN) AAS Program Map (Career Mobility Track)

This degree map provides you with the semester-by-semester course sequencing for both the Traditional and Career Mobility Tracks. To earn the Associate in Applied Science degree, you must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 as a minimum on all coursework required for the degree and a “Satisfactory” grade in clinical courses to progress in the program. Note the Milestones below each semester. Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track for degree completion.

Prerequisite General Education Courses
Total Credit Hours: 25
*It is highly recommended that these courses, or courses used for substitution, be completed no more than five (5) years prior to applying to the Nursing program.

- Check the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
- To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted. Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.
- Download MS Office from MyTCC.
- Form a study group, join a student organization, or volunteer at a community service site.
- Visit the writing, math and science, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
- Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.
- Application requirements submitted with online Nursing application: 1) current Oklahoma LPN license or National Paramedic Registration, 2) ATI/TEAS test results, 3) application checklist completed by a TCC Academic Advisor.
- All risk management requirements must be completed in preparation for the clinical setting (CPR, vaccinations, flu shot, TB test, etc.) including clearance on a national background check and negative drug screen.

- Annual TB test & CPR certification (AHA BLS) must be compliant at the start of the semester for the duration of the semester.
