Aviation Sciences Technology AAS Professional Pilot Option, Program Map

This degree map provides you with the semester-by-semester course sequencing for a full-time student to complete this degree in two years. To earn the Associate in Applied Science degree, you must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 (‘C’) as a minimum on all coursework required for the degree. Note the Milestones below each semester. Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track for degree completion. **Special permissions are required for AVST course enrollment. Please see an Aviation Academic Advisor for enrollment assistance.

- To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted. Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.
- Download MS Office from MyTCC.
- Form a study group, join a student organization, or volunteer at a community service site.
- Visit the writing, math and science, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
- Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.

- Professional pilot students earn a Private Pilot Certificate from TCC once AVST1113, AVST1123, AVST 2113, and AVST 2253 are completed. Students must submit for this certificate of graduation upon completion. The TCC Private Pilot Certificate does not qualify a student for an FAA Private Pilot Certificate.
