Electronics Technology AAS Program Map

This degree map provides you with the semester-by-semester course sequencing for a full-time student to complete this degree in two years. To earn the Associate in Applied Science degree, you must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on all coursework required for the degree and minimum grade of ‘C’ on all Electronics courses. Note the Milestones below each semester. Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track for degree completion.

- Form a study group, join a student organization, or volunteer at a community service site.
- Visit the writing, math and science, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
- Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester

- If pursuing the Industrial Maintenance area of emphasis, take ELET 1223 Hydraulics and Pneumatics in summer. This course is typically offered only during the summer semester.

- Plan to qualify for ETA International’s Basic Skills and Certified Electronics Technician exams, the General Radio Operators License (GROL-FCC), or other industry certifications available. Visit with your faculty about options.
