To earn a Certificate of Achievement in this field of study, you must achieve a minimum 2.0 (‘C’) grade point average on the courses listed below.

Students with advanced language experience may test out of the following courses by achieving a score of 50 or higher on the CLEP exam: SPAN 1103 Elementary Spanish I, SPAN 1213 Elementary Spanish II and SPAN 2113 - Intermediate Spanish I. Students may also test out of SPAN 2143 Latin American Civilization and Culture and SPAN 2513 Intermediate Spanish Grammar and Conversation by achieving a score of 63 or higher on the CLEP exam.

First Semester
