Child Development Certificate, Certificate of Mastery Program Map

If you are a full-time student taking 15 hours per semester and follow this program map, you can complete this certificate in two semesters. Milestones are reminders of actions you should take during that semester to help keep you on track certificate completion.

Milestones
- Complete a background check in the School of Child Development and Education office.
- Check the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
- To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted. Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.
- Met with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.
- Apply for Scholars for Excellence in Child Care or Bridging the Gap scholarships. Contact Melissa Caviness 918-595-8024
