Aviation Sciences Technology, Flight Instructor Certificate Program Map

To earn this Certificate of Achievement, you must achieve a minimum 2.0 (‘C’) grade point average on the courses listed below.

First Semester

Check the academic calendar for important dates and deadlines impacting classes and financial aid.
To maintain financial aid eligibility, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 1.70 during the first 30 credit hours attempted and complete 67% of the courses attempted. Review your Financial Aid Dashboard or visit the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial aid status.

Form a study group, join the Aviation Club, or volunteer at a community service site.
Visit the writing, math, or technology learning centers for free individual tutoring support services.
Students must complete all AVST courses with a grade of C or better in order to receive credit and progress to the next course.
Meet with an academic advisor before enrolling for the next semester.
As a milestone for this certificate, students who complete this program will receive a TCC Certificate of course completion. Students must submit for this TCC certificate of graduation upon completion.
