Program Description

If the earth and its assets interest you, dig a little deeper by studying environmental sciences and natural resources! After you graduate, you may choose to pursue further study or a career in agriculture, conservation, environmental science, or natural resource management like forestry, range or wildlife sciences.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program you will be able to:

  • Apply core concepts of biology to ecological processes[JP1] .
  • Apply scientific method to environmental or natural resource problems.
  • Illustrate scientific data.
  • Integrate concepts from multiple disciplines around a central ecological theme.
  • Communicate environmental or ecological information.
  • Discuss environmental or natural resource issues in society.
  • Use proper field or laboratory techniques.
  • Evaluate scientific literature relevant to the environment or natural resources.

Student Organizations
