HITC 1333 - CPT and HCPCS Coding

The process of coding procedures using Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System) codes for other medical services and devices will be examined in detail, including coding guidelines, section guidelines, modifier usage, and code linkage.  Includes lab component.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1314  and ALDH 1323 , with a grade of “C” or better.
