ASLE 2414 - American Sign Language IIIAn ASL course focusing on specific grammatical and cultural topics. Emphasis is on the development of fluent conversational skills utilizing grammatical non-manual signals and markers. Students will learn how to narrate, describe, compare, and comment. Narratives of native language users are utilized for beginning text analysis of ASL. Interactive ASL lessons without voice lead to expanded vocabulary mastery and fluency lab component. Prerequisite: ASLE 1373 with a grade of “C” or better or instructor approval. Includes lab component.
