BIOT 1314 - Biotechnology Laboratory Methods and TechniquesLaboratory operations, management, equipment, instrumentation, quality control techniques, and safety procedures. Lectures on biochemistry, bioorganic topics and the scientific method, including design of assays for RNA, DNA, enzymes and protein. Offered spring semester only. Prerequisites: BIOT 1113 , BIOL 1224 and CHEM 1315 with a grade of “C” or better. Courses may be taken concurrently. Includes lab component.
