CVTC 2103 - Invasive Procedures I

Designed to prepare the student to enter the invasive cardiovascular field. Introduces the construction and purpose of specialized equipment and its role in invasive procedures. Topics will include invasive cardiovascular equipment, specialized equipment and cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator implantation. Prerequisite: CVTC 1003 ; CVTC 1013 ; CVTC 1023 ;  CVTC 1034 ; CVTC 1044 ; CVTC 1063   Includes lab component.
