INED 2643 - Interpreting Internship

Practical experience in settings such as education, rehabilitation, and agencies serving children, adolescents, and/or adults who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Synthesize practical and academic experiences gained during coursework through both shadowing professional interpreters and providing interpreting services under the supervision of a certified interpreter.  Includes lab component.

Prerequisites: ASLE 1413   INED 2233 , INED 2403 , INED 2443 , and ASLE 2524  with a grade of “C” or better or instructor approval. Concurrent enrollment with INED 2613 is recommended.
